When PizzaHacker Bernal was founded in 2012 by Jeffrey Krupman, he had one objective in mind — make the best pizza on earth. Initially beginning as a street food vendor in Dolores Park, Krupman has since been continuously making an impact on the SF food scene.
In 2023, he passed down the reigns of PizzaHacker Bernal to Amrafel Tomas and Shimei Burgueno. Amrafel was a student of Krupman and is now very elated to be back full circle.
Now they, whilst working closely with Krupman, continue to improve what Krupman has built and get closer to his objective — make the best pizza on earth.

A Space Built for Community
CreekHaus Beer Garden is where the day spills outside — PizzaHacker pizza, rotating Bay Area craft beers, long tables, live music, and seasonal moments under the oaks. It's the social heart of CreekHaus, built for easy conversation and shared traditions.
Inspired by the Bavarian idea that everyone is equal in the beer garden, the design blends German nostalgia with California warmth. Copper details reference brewing and brass-band energy, while tactile, welcoming elements invite you to unplug, connect, and stay awhile.
